Overview 

The Power Apps Lead Architect and Developer will design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade solutions on Microsoft’s Power Platform, with a focus on scalable architecture, secure integrations, and performance-driven low-code applications. This role requires expert-level understanding of the Power Apps internal runtime model, Dataverse schema design, and PowerFx-based execution patterns. This position requires the ability to work onsite 5 days/week at one of our locations in Rockville, MD, Frederick MD, or Tysons, VA. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Architect and implement Power Apps solutions that integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Dataverse, Azure services, and external APIs through standard and custom connectors.
  • Lead design of model-driven and canvas apps, governing solution layering, environment strategy, ALM pipelines, and dependency management across Dev, Test, and Prod environments.
  • Develop and maintain reusable Power Apps components, including PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) controls and custom connectors, packaged and deployed via solution manifests.
  • Oversee low-code application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps and Power Platform Build Tools, including source control of exported app JSON schemas and solution XMLs.
  • Implement PowerFx-based logic, governance policies, and performance instrumentation across Power Platform environments.
  • Collaborate with enterprise security and cloud teams to enforce compliance, data protection, and least-privilege design within Azure AD and Dataverse.
  • Guide developers in understanding internal Power Platform operations — including metadata-driven compilation, connector resolution, PowerFx expression evaluation, and runtime sandboxing within Azure Functions. 

 

Required Skills 

  • Deep expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), PowerFx, and Dataverse architecture.
  • Proficiency in Power Automate, Power BI integration, and Power Platform Administration.
  • Experience building PCF components, custom connectors, and REST-based integrations.
  • Strong background in Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Identity (AAD).
  • Familiarity with JSON, TypeScript, C#, and Power Platform CLI/Build Tools.
  • Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform solutions using Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to work onsite at one of our locations 5 days/week in Rockville, MD, Frederick, MD, or Tysons, VA.

Axle is currently hiring a Director of Corporate Development, Capital Strategy & Investor Relations in our Tysons, VA office. This individual will lead Axle’s efforts to develop, articulate, and fund its long-term platform strategy through partnerships with institutional investors, family offices, lenders, and capital advisors. The position bridges corporate strategy, financial planning, and external relations, driving confidence in the organization’s capital strength, growth trajectory, and long-term value creation 

Overview:  

This Director of Corporate Development, Capital Strategy and Investor Relations will serve as the key architect of Axle’s capital formation roadmap and will be responsible for representing Axle’s investment story, including its “Axle Platform” strategy — a differentiated thesis focused on acquisition-led growth, operational leverage, and strategic integration across research, healthcare, and technology. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, ensuring financial resources are aligned with growth objectives, while also managing relationships with investors, lenders, and key stakeholders. This role will report to the VP of Corporate Development and requires the ability to work in our Tysons, VA office 5 days/week.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Define Axle’s capital strategy to support acquisitions, organic growth, incubation investments, and working capital needs. 

  • Design equity, debt, or hybrid capital approaches that match different deal types or scaling phases while continuously assessing optimal capital structures to support value creation and investor alignment 

  • Develop and maintain the organization’s capital allocation framework, balancing growth initiatives, operating needs, and shareholder value. 

  • Lead financial modeling, scenario analysis, and investment evaluations to inform executive decision-making. 

  • Serve as the internal owner of Axle’s evolving platform investment strategy, with a clear understanding of its role as an integrator of complementary assets across Axle’s domains. 

  • Translate the Axle Platform vision into compelling investment narratives, with a focus on thesis-driven growth, M&A-led scale, and long-term enterprise value. 

  • Develop messaging around the “platform operator” role Axle plays — distinct from traditional PE or federal holding companies. 

  • Act as the lead liaison with capital partners including private equity firms, family offices, venture capital, and lenders, partnering to align capital strategy with growth and innovation priorities 

  • Own the development of investor materials, including Axle’s pitch deck, financial models, executive summaries, and Q&A prep.  

  • Maintain a structured cadence of investor engagement, status updates, and follow-ups. 

  • Lead outreach to prospective capital partners and manage ongoing fundraising efforts.  

  • Drive investor diligence processes, data room management, and coordination with advisors.  

  • Own negotiation and execution of investment terms, including capital stack structuring. 

  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and senior executives to ensure capital planning aligns with operating forecasts, deal pipeline, and strategic roadmap.  

  • Develop internal dashboards to track capital initiatives, investor interest, and fundraising milestones

Qualifications: 

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA, CFA, or MBA strongly preferred. 

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or investor relations. 

  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or technology sectors (preferred). 

  • Proven track record leading capital formation, fundraising, and structuring complex financing transactions. 

  • Demonstrated experience working with institutional investors, family offices, lenders, and capital advisors. 

  • Strong understanding of equity, debt, and hybrid capital structures. 

  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and deal-structuring skills. 

  • Deep knowledge of M&A processes, deal diligence, and integration strategies.

  • Experience implementing or managing CRM tools, workflow systems, and pipeline tracking practices (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Midaxo, Dealroom)

  • Demonstrated experience building and optimizing cross-functional workflows, dashboards, or planning tools

  • Ability to assess market signals and translate into actionable strategic insights

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Sales Operations Manager to help scale and refine our sales infrastructure, processes, and tools. This role plays a vital part in supporting our sales organization through insightful analysis, efficient workflows, and well-structured planning. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating both systems and strategy, and brings a thoughtful, forward-leaning approach to supporting sales execution. This role requires the ability to work in our Tysons, VA office 5 days/week.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and maintain scalable sales processes and playbooks. 
  • Evaluate and improve existing sales workflows to reduce friction and improve productivity. 
  • Drive weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast processes.
  • Support planning, quota allocation, and pipeline modeling using historical and real-time data. 
  • Implement structured forecasting methodologies, incorporating tools that improve visibility and accuracy. 
  • Manage the sales tech stack ensuring systems are configured to support evolving needs. 
  • Scale sales team with direct reports to ensure go to market goals are achieved. 
  • Assess and implement enhancements to improve team efficiency, reporting, and pipeline visibility. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that provide insight into pipeline health, performance metrics, and key trends. 
  • Deliver clear, data-backed recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and identify growth opportunities. 
  • Ensure sales metrics are actionable and tied to business outcomes. 
  • Act as a connective force between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure operational alignment. 
  • Support go-to-market planning, launches, and continuous feedback loops with key partners. 
  • Participate in ongoing refinement of sales strategy through process insights and performance data. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics) and reporting tools  
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline sales processes and support scalable growth 
  • Highly analytical with a strong understanding of sales KPIs and data-driven decision-making 
  • Experience in a B2B sales environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage a team.  
  • Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies or process redesign (preferred)

Overview:

  

The Benefits Manager will oversee the employee benefit programs. This position requires the ability to work in our Rockville, MD office 5 days/week. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Directs the corporate planning, strategy development, administration and analysis, and overall management of health and welfare plans, voluntary benefit programs, wellness initiatives, and defined contribution plan for employees
  • Develops and implements plans and strategies for the health and welfare and 401(k) functions that outline actions to support short and long-range business objectives
  • Develops and directs benefit plans that provide value to employees, are cost-effective for the organization, and meet defined objectives
  • Ensures effective benefit communications
  • Works cooperatively with 3rd party vendors in the production of all benefit-related messages and material
  • Acts as a liaison with carriers, vendors, and consultants on various matters such as plan design, contract negotiations, coverage and renewals
  • Manage the employee benefit budget and serve as subject matter expert for all benefit plans
  • Works with payroll to ensure data and deduction integrity
  • Performs contribution reconciliation for all health and welfare plans, voluntary benefit programs, and defined contribution plan
  • Assures all company-sponsored plans, including their design and changes thereto, are in compliance with all relevant legal and ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements
  • Lead annual open enrollment process and consult with 3rd party vendors to recommend enhancements to benefits plans, policies, and practices

 

Qualifications: 

  • An exceptional knowledge of all lines of benefits including self-funded medical insurance. Good oral and written communication skills; the ability to independently make accurate decisions
  • A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience (6 years)
  • 8+ years of benefits related experience is required
  • 2+ years of benefits management experience
  • Experience with ADP preferred
  • Experience ensuring compliance with laws and regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, SPDs, Form 5500, Form 1095-C)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong analysis/quantitative skills with the ability to translate analysis and data into actionable tasks or results
  • Ability to work and interact effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse backgrounds at all levels of the organization
  • A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills are required and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information and material
  • The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship
  • Ability to work in our Rockville, MD office 5 days/week
